At 17:39 hours today Bishopville was alerted for an Engine crew to standby at 13602 Saint Martins Neck Rd. for a Landing Zone for Trooper 4 to assist Ocean City with a fly out for a patient from a motorcycle accident at 42nd Street and Coastal Highway. Engine 906 and Engine Tanker 907 responded with full crews minutes later. Engine 906 shut westbound traffic of Route 90 down while the helicopter landed and took-off. The crew from 907 assisted EMS in loading the patient into the helicopter. Use caution the rest of the weekend with the motorcycles in town and be safe!
