At approximately 0700 hours Bishopville, Selbyville, and Showell Fire Departments were alerted for a working house fire in Holiday Harbor. First responding personnel arrived to a single story home with an attached garage fully involved. A majority of the damage was held to the garage side of the house. The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire and at this time the cause is undetermined. Thank you to the support from several additional companies that responded from Worcester and Sussex Counties. There was no injuries reported besides two cats who died as a result of the fire. All five occupants and two dogs made it outside prior to the fire departments arrival.
