On Friday August 16th at 0506 Bishopville was alerted to the area of Saint Martins Neck Rd. and South Hampton Dr. for a MVC; Reported two vehicles head on. On arrival two vehicles were found in the causeway with everyone out, after investigation it was found a SUV was rear ended by a car while parked on the cause way. Ocean City was alerted for two additional EMS units in addition to Bishopville's Paramedic unit, with a total transport of five patients. The causeway was shut down for approximately 90 minutes.
