At 1917 hours Bishopville was alerted for an ALS Standby crew at 12131 Saint Martins Neck Road to assist Ocean City Bomb Squad, Worcester County Fire Marshall's Office and the Maryland State Police in a controlled detonation. Old copper blasting caps were found at the location and moved to a secondary location where the controlled explosion disabled the blasting caps. All units were in service by the Ocean City Bomb Squad and cleared at 2004.
